Christopher J. Schaffer, M.D., is Board Certified through the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and also sits on the Botox National Education Faculty. Dr. Schaffer received his medical degree from University of Nebraska Medical Center and underwent eight years of advanced surgical training at Temple University Hospital, Vanderbilt University Hospital and University of Alabama at Birmingham. His professional interests include breast augmentation, facial surgery, body contouring, liposculpture, and injectable treatments.

Dr. Schaffer has been practicing medicine in the Tampa Bay area since the fall of 2000. He joined forces with Dr. Jeffrey A. Hunt in September of 2008 at the Vein Center of Tampa Bay and Stunning Looks Medi Spa which now offers a full compliment of surgical and non-surgical aesthetic services, cutting edge treatments for spider and varicose veins, the most effective cosmetic fillers, and the latest technology in laser, light-based, and radio frequency therapies such as Thermage™ and Fraxel™.

Dr. Schaffer also practices "Rapid Recovery" breast augmentation to reduce the amount of time it takes for patients to heal following breast augmentation surgery. Normally breast augmentation requires days to weeks to recover, however, "Rapid Recovery" is designed to shorten the recovery period to only 24 hours. To promote a rapid and smooth recovery, Dr. Schaffer uses advanced techniques during surgery, minimizes dressings, and guides patients on how to complete post-operative exercises.
