HerbalWise conducts
workshops teaching individuals the skills necessary to produce herbal
remedies and make their own herbal medicine that will empower them and
help address their own health and wellness needs.
Deserie Valloreo
Deserie Valloreo is the herbalist that conducts the HerbalWise
workshops. She has a combined 20 years of professional experience in
managing projects and developing training programs with her personal
interest in herbs, natural health, and her desire to help people, to form
HerbalWise. Deserie is a member of the American Herbalist Guild, Herb
Research Foundation, and the Florida Native Plant Society.
Herbal Medicine-Making
Workshop
Participants learn how to create their own herbal medicine to treat common
ailments with infusions, decoctions, oils, salves, and tinctures.
Herbal Pet Care Workshop
Participants learn how to make and use herbal medicine to remedy common
pet ailments such as fleas, parasites, digestive ailments, skin ailments,
anxiety, infection, and minor injuries.
