Deidre was born June 2, 1964 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Her father, James
Cavener, was an executive with Magnavox
and her mother, Joyce Fisher, was a hole in one
golfer and the CEO of their home! Her fathers entrepreneurial sprit
bloomed when he opened his first company, Energystics in the early 70's.
The company was a huge success and was relocated to Washington DC (Crystal
City), along with the entire Cavener family in 1976. Deirdre stayed in the
Washington DC area until she moved to Pinellas County Florida in 1984. She
wasn't in Florida long when she met her first husband Gary White and started a
family. Within 2 years they were the proud parents of two beautiful
daughters. In order to stay home with the kids Deirdre ran a home day care
and put herself through college at USF during the evening. She graduated
with a 3.8 GPA with a degree in Management Information Systems in 1996.
After working in corporate America for many years she, like her father, found
her entrepreneurial sprit and opened KISS Marketing, Inc. in 2001. She
currently lives in Seminole Florida with her youngest daughter
(17), 3 dogs (Bailey, Tyson, and Lacy), 3 cats, a school of fish, and a hamster!
